The cannabis plant is an excellent bio-remediator, soaking up large amounts of substances from the soil that the roots come in contact with. Unfortunately, this means that a cannabis plant will absorb toxic compounds, including heavy metals such as Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, and Arsenic that may also be present in the soil where it’s grown. Even at extremely low levels, such heavy metals can be hazardous to human health if ingested.
OA utilizes Inductively Coupled Plasma - Mass Spectrometry to detect heavy metals at concentrations as low as one part per billion to ensure that your cannabis is safe for human consumption.
